The Green Market Exposition has grown into a two-day event, which features over 45 exhibitors, along with panels, workshops, seminars and speakers which focuses on supporting a green market economy and promises  to provide everyone who attends a wonderful learning opportunity that supports the promise of a green future.

The GME offers green job training and employment opportunities, green job career paths, as well as providing information on how to save money and energy; affordable products and services which will help people learn how to live economical and sustainable lives.

Celebrate An Emerging Green Collar Economy

The Green Market Exposition is an annual community event which provides support, information and resources for sustainable living for residents of Bridgeport and surrounding Fairfield County communities, and will kick off Bridgeport's Green Market Economy.

In 1810, James Madison was the President, there were 18 states in the Union, the Lewis and Clark expedition was still a 'current event', only 96,000 people lived in New York City, and P.T. Barnum was born
To commemorate P.T. Barnum's 200th birthday, we have brought together a line-up of new programs and exhibitions that will celebrate the extraordinary impact Barnum continues to have on American history. From Barnum's Birthday Bash on July 5th to a Haunted Museum Tour this fall, we are pulling out all the stops to pay tribute to Barnum's extraordinary legacy.
